Exploring Epcot’s Vibrant Pink Flower Festival

I am a little late to the Sunday Stills challenge, but after looking at Terri’s post challenging us to find pink, I still wanted to share photos of my recent trip to Epcot and Magic Kingdom. You’ll notice a lot of my photography is nature or landscape-based, and surprisingly, at Disney World, especially during the flower festival, the landscape is photograph-worthy.

Epcot’s International Flower and Garden Festival goes all out with brightly colored flowers — many shades of pink. Orlando, Florida.

Bright pink flowers surround Goofy, who was one of the many character-themed topiaries throughout Epcot — it was fun to search for all of them.

Lady & the Tramp topiaries in the Italy section of Epcot featured more pink flowers. While I have seen these flowers in the US, they said they only used these flowers if they could also be found in Italy. (Sounds like another trip idea so I can find out firsthand.)

I couldn’t share photos of Disney World without sharing a photo of Cinderella’s castle, especially since I am used to the much smaller Sleeping Beauty castle at Disneyland. I managed to capture a soft-pink to the castle, which is fitting for Terri’s pink theme.

I hope you are having a peaceful week and can find some joy in your surrounding nature, too — even if it is an amusement park.

  1. Wow, Dawn I love your pink choices for the color challenge! I’ve only been to Disneyland. These are truly beautiful and I love seeing the Disney characters pretty in pink 🙂 Nice touch on Cinderella’s Castle! And you are right on time 🙂

    1. Aw thanks! Disneyland is much smaller…but we like it that way…easier to get between parks. Seems both do a good job with their plants but the Flower Festival at Epcot is over the top.

  2. Beautiful flowers and vibrant colors. Amazing how many shades of pink can grow and brighten up these gardens. Flowers anywhere, even in amusement parks, can make a perfect day.
