CBWC – Peaceful at Dawn

With a photo challenge incorporating peacefulness, how could I not join in? I always find the beach peaceful–no matter what the weather or the time of day–so I’m sharing a few ocean vistas for Cee’s Black and White Challenge (CBWC) – Peaceful.

View of the Pacific Ocean from Ragged Point, along the Big Sur in central California.

Silver Strand State Beach, San Diego, California.

Corona del Mar State Beach, California.

Last of the winter pipeline on North Shore, Oahu, Hawaii.

Escaping the bustle of San Francisco to Muir Beach, northern California.

Perfect place for a long beach walk at Crystal Cove State Beach, Newport, California.

I hope everyone has a peaceful weekend.

  1. I do miss the beach from the Bay Area and Santa Cruz area! Your images take me right back there. I can almost hear the waves and the smell the sea. You know when we visit our son in SoCAL and go for daily walks on the beach I noticed straight-away it doesn’t smell the same as Santa Cruz to Half Moon Bay. I miss that beachy smell! Silly but I do.

    1. I’m glad you enjoyed these photos. I live in SoCal and I know exactly what you mean about the smells. I can remember them too when I look at photos of beaches up north. I miss it too! 🌞
