HAPPY EARTH DAY!

Earth Day means different things to different people, or maybe it is just another day in April. Now that I am back in my beloved California, I get to appreciate the trees and beautiful environment around me every day. Yay for trees!

I took this photo of the majestic Redwood trees, part of a grove in Big Basin Redwoods State Park near Santa Cruz, CA.

I heard about a fire in the great forest, which is sad. I am sure it has to do with climate change…yes, that is really a thing! So, I find it fitting to pay tribute to the beautiful trees in California today, Earth Day. I hope to visit them again soon. I hope that these trees continue to grow and thrive in the peaceful forest.

I am an avid nature and ecology lover and enjoy sharing my photography in my blog writings. I will often be out early in the morning or late in the evening with my camera, trying to capture the peacefulness and beauty around me.
