As part of my on-going journey to figuring out what was planted in my yard, I now have these bright pink flowers blooming on bushes that I thought were just evergreen plants. It turns out, they’re azaleas–something I did not have in Arizona, so I did not recognize them at first; I am sharing for Cee’s Flower of the Day challenge.
Early spring azaleas in bloom; captured with 300mm DSLR lens.
“Evergreen” bushes actually blooming in early spring as azaleas; captured with 300mm DLSR lens.
I am an avid nature and ecology lover and enjoy sharing my photography in my blog writings. I will often be out early in the morning or late in the evening with my camera, trying to capture the peacefulness and beauty around me.
