FOTD: Orchids in Hawaii

Many varieties of orchids grow in Hawaii. These particular ones were within my reach for photos, but there were others high up in trees that I could only admire from afar. We definitely don’t have exotic flowers growing in symbiosis with trees in California, so this was a treat to see in Hawaii, even if I was sneaking shots in between rain showers. Sharing for Cee’s Flower of the Day (FOTD).

I am an avid nature and ecology lover and enjoy sharing my photography in my blog writings. I will often be out early in the morning or late in the evening with my camera, trying to capture the peacefulness and beauty around me.
