World Wildlife Day

I am sharing a few wildlife photos for World Wildlife Day. Southern California beaches always have a variety of animals to photograph, and I never get tired of exploring.

California Royal Terns chilling on Salt Creek Beach, Dana Point, California.

And when it is harder to see certain animals, I don’t mind enjoying them in zoos–ones that focus on conservation and helping save wildlife.

Male silverback gorilla enjoying his breakfast–with one eye on his brothers in the distance; Animal Kingdom Park, Orlando, Florida.

Lone rhino making his entrance for safari riders at Animal Kingdom Park, Orlando, Florida.

Wherever you are at today, I hope you take a moment to enjoy the wildlife around you. Have a peaceful weekend!

I am an avid nature and ecology lover and enjoy sharing my photography in my blog writings. I will often be out early in the morning or late in the evening with my camera, trying to capture the peacefulness and beauty around me.
