Throwback Thursday

Super-bloom at Anza-Borrego Desert State Park (photo credit: Dawn Palmer, 2019).

Last night, I had a dream about someone I lost to Covid last year. We were sitting in her garden, visiting amongst her flowers and other plants. Naturally, the dream made me think of springtime.

These photos were taken back in 2019, during the super-bloom, out in the Anza-Borrego desert in Southern California. I have a lot of wonderful memories of taking driving tours to see spring flowers, including ones where I would stop by and visit my grandma and show off my photos after a driving tour. Other times, I remember taking my daughter with me to hike through the flowers.

I am an avid nature and ecology lover and enjoy sharing my photography in my blog writings. I will often be out early in the morning or late in the evening with my camera, trying to capture the peacefulness and beauty around me.
