When I lived in Arizona, I tried to grow a lot of succulents–mostly in vain. It was just too hot. Now that I am in California, I am having more success with succulents, and now, for the first time, they’re blooming. I am sharing a few flowers from my smallest succulent for Cee’s photo challenge – Flower of the Day (FOTD).

Oh these are wonderful photos for today. So beautiful 😀

Thank you! 😊 They were quite a surprise, since I haven’t seen these succulents bloom before. 🤓

Never suspect succulents can have such fragile flowers! Nice to have a touch of spring! Your pictures are beautiful!

I always knew succulents were hardy plants that could withstand harsh conditions, who would have imagined that they have such delicate flowers? It was a surprise for me, too. I wonder if the flowers are only look fragile and, in fact, will last a while? We have a plant infront of our house that blooms with the most beautiful pink flowers, but only for a few days a year…

I’m not sure how long the succulent flowers will last, but they’re definitely tiny. I love looking at them. 😎
