FOTD – February 14, 2022: Daffodils Close-Up

Happy Valentine’s Day! It’s always fun to come home from a long weekend and find mystery bulbs have sprouted and bloomed in the yard. I bought my house last fall, so I don’t know what flowers are going to come up this spring. Here are the first ones–some of my favorites–daffodils, up close for Macro Monday and for Cee’s photo challenge – Flower of the Day (FOTD).

Daffodils are my birth month flower and have arrived a few weeks early this year; captured with 300mm DSLR lens.

A surprise bunch of bulbs bloom early in my yard; captured with 300mm DSLR lens.

I am an avid nature and ecology lover and enjoy sharing my photography in my blog writings. I will often be out early in the morning or late in the evening with my camera, trying to capture the peacefulness and beauty around me.

  1. Sometimes it seems … one evening nothing there and the next morning in full bloom.

I hope you find more peace in your life that all of us are looking for. One day it seems impossible and the next something pops up! Be watchful. ๐Ÿ™‚
