I am still not sure what this bulb in my garden is going to bloom into, because it is the only one by itself. Because it is an odd, mystery flower bud, I am sharing for Becky’s Square Odds and Cee’s Flower of the Day (FOTD).
Still waiting for this lone bud to finish blooming to figure out what it is; captured with 70mm DLSR lens.

Hi – not an expert but I think it is a small variety if a daffodil – the leaves seem exactly like some I have coming up and that yellow
– and nice to see a promising bud – so filled with hope
Maybe! 🤷🏼♀️ I have other daffodils that popped up, but they’re slightly different and all the way on other side of yard. If it survives the freeze tonight, maybe I’ll get to see it open up. 😎

I definitely will! It was snowing earlier (first time in 30 years), so I’m hoping the little bulb makes it. I’ll share more pics if it does.

I would also go for daffodils – sometimes they can get deformed by the weather. Great square oddity
