Lens-Artists Challenge #245: Beach Environments

For this week’s Lens-Artists Challenge, Tina of Travels and Trifles challenges us to share our thoughts and photos on environments. This is a bit of a challenge for me, since I love all types of landscape photography. I chose to narrow it down to beach landscapes, although I will definitely take photos of any peaceful landscape or cute or interesting animals or plants, flowers, trees, etc. These first few have me dreaming of an aloha life in Hawaii.

Waikiki, Hawaii, on a peaceful morning.

California is just as peaceful in its own way. Aloha feelings don’t come as easily in the hustle and bustle of SoCal, but making my way down to the beach or nearby trails always helps.

Crystal Cove State Beach, Newport, California, on a foggy morning.

Salt Creek Beach, Dana Point, California, at low tide.

No matter your style, whatever your jam is, there’s a beach for you out there. Just ask Kylo!

Dog Beach, Del Mar, California–Kylo’s favorite place for relaxing.

Hope you find your aloha moment in your favorite environment.

I am an avid nature and ecology lover and enjoy sharing my photography in my blog writings. I will often be out early in the morning or late in the evening with my camera, trying to capture the peacefulness and beauty around me.
