CFFC: Eyes

I am sharing some of my favorite animals’ eyes this week for Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge (CFFC) – Eyes.

One of my favorite polar bears at the San Diego Zoo, Tatqiq, has really gotten into digging a giant hole in her yard.

Another favorite this past year was the arrival of the baby orangutan Kaja. Here’s a shot of him asleep in his smiling mother’s arms.

Indah smiles slightly at her audience as she rocks Kaja to sleep at San Diego Zoo, California.

The baby giraffes are getting bigger, but they still have adorable eyelashes framing their eyes.

Some flamingos are still out, but the iconic birds at the zoo entrance are on hiatus. Regardless, they’re hard to forget.

I hope everyone has had a peaceful start to their new year!

I am an avid nature and ecology lover and enjoy sharing my photography in my blog writings. I will often be out early in the morning or late in the evening with my camera, trying to capture the peacefulness and beauty around me.
